As a Program Analyst on our team, you will be responsible for maintaining, developing, and testing programs as well as evaluating user's needs and consulting with users to identify problems.
A true passion to use your knowledge of coding to evaluate and enhance existing programs while providing process improvements. You must be work oriented, have initiative, ambition, and a desire to learn the business from the ground up.
Essential Functions of Position
Plan, develop, test, and document computer programs and applications, applying knowledge of programming techniques and computer systems, that meet user specifications and expectations
Provide coding, testing, and implementation of IBMi series (AS400) solutions
Replace, delete, or modify codes to correct errors
Analyze, review, and alter program to increase operating efficiency or adapt to new requirements
Assist users as well as provides support in branch programs as needed
Stay informed of new technologies and changes in existing technologies, and how these might impact or improve current programs and processes
Performs other duties as assigned
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Computer programs such as MS Office - Word, Outlook, Excel, Power Point, Internet Explorer, and iSeries AS400
Understanding of relevant business concepts and practices
Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to communicate to different functions of the organization with the appropriate level of detail
Analyzing data and situations accurately with a strong attention to detail to develop the proper course of action needed to be taken
Efficient problem-solving, time management, prioritization, and organization
Accurately multi-task and adhere to any deadlines set
Continual learning in a fast-paced and friendly environment
Experience and Education
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business or equivalent preferred
Minimum of 3 years experience in programming and analysis
