The Cloud Security Architect will lead the design and development of the DexKo Azure security architecture. This position will contribute directly to the enterprise’s global cloud architecture and lead the security vision and strategy for cloud-based applications.
More specifically, this position will be responsible for activities including but not limited to the following:
- Strategy & Design
- Security Architects are expected to develop elegant solutions to complex business problems and apply appropriate technologies while following security engineering best practices and helping business leaders drive risk-informed decisions.
- Devise a strategy to secure information assets and cloud services
- Create/review/update security policies and standards for the public/private/hybrid cloud contexts
- Partner with stakeholders to assess public & private cloud services/technologies or security standards compliance
- Be strong in multiple domains and provide contributions to the DexKo operations teams, infrastructure teams, and administrative teams.
- Security Operations
- Design, implement, administer, and monitor security infrastructure, including Vulnerability Management, Application Security, Privileged Access Management, Network Access Identification, and Control, Data Loss Prevention, SIEM, IDS/IPS, web content filtering, AV
- Maintain & improve current security architectures
- Conduct complex technology and system assessments for architecture solutions
- Communicate the companywide security architecture strategy and direction to both management and systems-related teams
- Analyze and design controls to secure public/private/hybrid cloud deployment
- Leadership
- You must mentor and engage the security team and be a thought leader for the organization.
- Work with the Director of Global architecture to ensure global compliance standards are achieved
- Lead projects in implementing new security architecture frameworks

Professional Certifications | CISSP, CISM, AZ-900, AZ-500 |

Expereince:
Years of experience: | Bachelor's Degree or equivalent with a Minimum of 7 years of information security work experience |
6 + years of experience in identifying security issues and risks and developing mitigation plans | |
4+ years of experience in network, system, or software architecture; design, implementation, support, and evaluation of security-focused tools and services | |
2+ years of experience in one or more of the following areas: identity and access management, web and network protocols, data structures and algorithms, software development, threat modeling, pen tests and vulnerability assessments, Azure security, and Defender for cloud. | |
Proven track record of leading the delivery and operations of large-scale, mission-critical distributed systems | |
Deep hands-on technical expertise in Cyber Security in the following relevant technical areas: large-scale systems engineering, queuing and messaging, Azure networking, performance analysis, software-defined networking, etc. | |
Experience playing a visionary technical leadership role within a large organization | |
Knowledge:
Required:
- Have a clear understanding of cloud computing services/deployment architecture
- Thorough knowledge of NIST 800-53, ISO 27001/2, CIS Critical Security Controls, ITIL
Have excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex technical information clearly and concisely to a variety of audiences.
- Experience defining cyber-secure architectures, design, and development of unified messaging platforms
Desired:
- Have experience generating strategic KPIs to develop and improve all security systems
- Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, asynchronous architectures, and distributed algorithms
- Proven track record in leading and driving design and implementation of security technologies, such as SIEM, Vulnerability Management tools, PKI/Encryption Technologies, Active Directory, Firewalls, IDS/IPS, Endpoint security, Data Loss Prevention tools, web content filters, Group Policy, and authentication mechanisms.
Deep technical understanding of TCP/IP networks, network security, operating systems (windows and Linux), infrastructure and cloud security
