Senior Java Full Stack Engineer
Cognizant's Digital Engineering practice is seeking a highly qualified Full Stack engineers with experience developing and building high-performing, scalable, enterprise applications. You will be part of a digital software team that works on high-demand applications. Our engineers have a passion for high-quality, reliable and maintainable code. You will work side by side with product managers, designers, and clients, making decisions together in order to quickly deliver valuable working software to clients and their users. Our engineers are agile and retrospective, and not afraid to identify what we're doing wrong, so we can fix it, and what we're doing right, so we can improve on it. Above all, we judge success by the success of our team and the happiness of our customers.
Location: Remote but require travelling to the Wilmington, DE office 2 times a week.

Responsibilities:
- Maintain and enhance existing code to improve our software and minimize technical debt of the platform.
- Research technical solutions for changing business needs.
- Ability to work in an Agile environment.
- Manage individual project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables.
- Ensure the final product is highly performant, responsive, and of the highest quality.
Qualifications
- Java 6-8+ years of experience - Java, Spring Boot & MongoDB
- Design, develop, unit test, and deploy new code to meet the Business needs of the stories and features.
- Experience with domain driven design
- Experience designing and development of RESTful APIs
- Experience with Spring boot and micro service architecture patterns
- Familiarity with Kubernetes and containers
- Understanding of git, gitflow, Maven, CI (Jenkins/ADO/Gitlab)
- Experience with automated testing and CI/CD
- Experience leading software development teams in a SAFe agile environment
