REMOTE - UI Senior Software Engineer

Insight Global is seeking an accomplished UI Senior Software Engineer, to help in designing and building the next generation of our recently introduced flagship suite of products.

Our client is building transformational data analytics platform that allows the customer to conduct analytics based on data collected by sensors.

Responsibilities include working with Product Management, gathering user requirements, defining system functionality and writing code in various languages, like Java, Python etc.

Our ideal candidates are familiar with the software development life cycle (SDLC) from preliminary system analysis to tests and deployment.

Ultimately, the role of the UI Senior Software Engineer is to design and build high-quality, innovative and fully performing software that complies with coding standards and technical design.

• 3+ yrs. Experience with Kibana, Grafana
• 4+ yrs. experience on Dockers based containers and Kubernetes based orchestration system
• 4+ yrs. experience on Distributed Computing Frameworks like Spark Airflow, Kafka
• 4+ yrs. experience on developing microservices based APIs (Knowledge on GraphQL would be value addition)
• Passionate about developing high quality software in a distributed team environment
• 4+ yrs experience in UI framework (i.e. Angular JS, React, etc.)
• 4+ yrs Experience in working with UX designers
• 5+ yrs. industry experience in software development
• 5+ yrs. handson experience in programming languages like Python, Java
• 4+ yrs. handson experience in designing solutions on AWS/GCP cloud
• 4+ yrs. handson experience in working on NoSQL solutions like Elastic search (preferred), MongoDB, Cassandra
• 4+ yrs. handson experience on SQL databases like SQL server, PostgreSQL, MySQL
• Experience in designing and developing applications on public clouds (AWS/GCP)
• Experience in designing and developing distributed computing applications
• Experience with testdriven development
• Proficiency in software engineering tools
