Summary:
This position provides the opportunity to join a dynamic team and is responsible for various day-to-day activities within the Accounting Department. Those activities may include but are not limited to cash management, accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciliation of bank and credit card accounts, generating reports, data analysis, preparing financial statements and related workpapers, manipulating spreadsheets and electronic data, mastering software systems, assisting with automation opportunities and software implementation/upgrades and performing various other administrative duties relating to accounting.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities May Include:
- Accounts Payable-process vendor invoices, expense reimbursements and recurring monthly payments
- Handle vendor/supplier relationships & reconcile vendor statements
- Reconciliation of employee credit cards and purchasing cards
- Accounts Receivable-prepare and process invoices for services rendered & manage collections
- Handle customer relationships & reconcile customer accounts
- Processing of journal entries & allocations
- Reconciliation of bank accounts
- Assist with preparation of financial statements and related working papers
- Research and data analysis
- Communication with internal and external parties
Typical Education/Experience:
- College degree in Business Administration or Accounting preferred
- Two-year technical education plus three years experience, or
- Five years experience working in an Accounting Department

- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Team player
- Attention to detail and good organization skills
- Ability to multi-task and handle a large volume of transactions
- Understanding of debits and credits
- Proficient in Excel
