Summary:

The Senior Manager, Marketing is an experienced life sciences professional who will assist in the development of the strategic direction and ensure alignment of all tactics and resources therein. Reporting to the Director of Marketing, this role shares responsibility for achieving revenue, market share and expense targets, and is responsible for managing the budget for their areas of accountability.


The Senior Manager will oversee the development, implementation and management of programs, services, and tactics for the Healthcare Professional (HCP) customer segment. This individual will collaborate extensively on key initiatives with other members of the brand team, Commercial Operations team, the field sales team, and multiple other internal functions. As appropriate, this role provides direction for work delegated to vendors to ensure quality and timely completion of deliverables or provision of services.

Responsibilities

  • Establish and manage the overall timing, deliverables, dependencies, issues, risks, and resolutions to marketing initiatives
  • Manage budget and expenses, ensuring that resources are utilized effectively and efficiently
  • Effectively manage relevant vendor, agency and consultant resources and their work product to ensure responsible and impactful use of funds
  • Continuously track and monitor all programs/strategies/ and tactic to drive measurable results as compared with spend (ROI).
  • Develop and maintain positive and collaborative working relationships with a broad range of stakeholders to ensure achievement of assigned objectives and/or maximize the impact and effectiveness of programs and tactics to achieve those objectives. Manage Day to Day operations of Speaker Programs. Coordinate budget, assist in annual onboarding and training of speakers, and manage relationship with vendor account team
  • Develop area-specific promotional and service-oriented content for personal and/or non-personal channels
  • Collaborate with sales team members to align programs and tactics with a customer focus
  • Assist in Sales Training to enhance and reinforce sales representatives' abilities to appropriately execute agreed-upon strategies and tactics
  • Lead the Promotional Review process for all marketing and sales material
  • Ensure understanding of and adherence to all relevant internal and external policies or guidelines related to the team's activities and deliverables
  • Performs other duties as assigned


Qualifications

Education & Experience:

The ideal candidate will possess the following experiences and attributes:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in Marketing or a related field of study
  • 5 or more years of pharmaceutical commercial or related field experience; 2 or more years of HCP marketing experience
  • 2 or more years of Field Sales experience
  • Knowledge of the US healthcare system
  • Hospital and Anti-infective background beneficial
