Foot Locker is seeking a Store Network Engineer will serve as part of a talented team of engineers who collectively demonstrate excellent technical competency, reliability in delivering mission critical infrastructure, and who continually ensure the highest levels of availability, optimization, and customer service. Qualified Store Network Engineer applicants will have a strong background in IT specifically in retail network support.

Responsibilities:


  • Provide stable and reliable data communications for all company locations; Redundant, Resilient, Reliable and Secure network connectivity

  • Plan, build, and support large scale network infrastructures; focusing on store/branch networks and some enterprise network support

  • Continuously improve and develop global standard for store networks

  • Available for travel and support store networks across the globe, mostly in APAC, being part of a rapid store response team for emergency repair and escalations

  • Provide technical support for projects from planning to post implementation following industry best practices and global network standards

  • Provide excellent customer service when supporting store issues, delivering quick support to keep stores connected and selling shoes

  • Active participation in creating new documentation as well as updating previously created documents

  • Assist with ordering telephone, internet, cabling installs, relocations, and disconnects for all stores

Qualifications:

SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE
:


  • Proficient knowledge of Meraki networks in a retail environment

  • Proficient knowledge of WiFi deployments and troubleshooting tools, e.g., Ekahau, Meraki Dashboard

  • Experience with Cisco enterprise networks is a plus

  • Experience with Palo Alto Firewalls is a plus

  • Ability to “rack and stack” equipment and test network connections, following Foot Locker global standards

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills


MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
:


  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology and/or equivalent IT experience a plus

  • 2-5 years of troubleshooting issues related to network connectivity, from desktop/endpoint, to applications

  • 2-5 years of experience in large retail networks a plus

  • Some experience with Telecom Ordering, and working with internet providers

  • Participate in on-call rotation

  • Ability to travel up to 10%

Benefits:


The annual base salary range is $70,000-100,000. This range represents the anticipated low and high end of the salary for this position. Salary will be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data. Salary is one component of the Foot Locker, Inc. total compensation package, which includes the below.
