As a key member of the FP&A global team, you will be responsible for supporting strategic initiatives to assist the company achieving both profit and gross margin growth globally and across geos/regions. In this role, you will take on highly complex problems, set high standards for data accuracy and operational cadence and manage across multiple stakeholders. Job Family Definition:

Gathers financial data and performs financial analyses and reporting (e.g., profit & loss, balance sheet, cash flow, pricing, etc.) to influence decisions within the business and to drive cross-business initiatives. Drives the implementation of best-in-class financial systems providing relevant, timely, and accurate financial information for financial planning, decision-making, control and risk management, and internal and external performance measurement.  Communicates and drives adherence to Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and the organization's financial goals and policies. Has the fiduciary responsibility to represent financial results correctly both internally and externally. Ensures strong business controls. Works with Finance and Information Technology to design, construct, and implement financial and business processes and systems requirements globally such as a new reporting system.

Routinely exercises independent judgment in developing methods, techniques and criteria for achieving objectives. Develops strategy and sets functional policy and direction. Acts as a functional manager within area of expertise but does not manage other employees as a primary job function.

Responsibilities:

  • Leads financial analysis, modelling, and data mining to support strategic initiatives.
  • Provides complex financial analysis with ability to determine the best method for achieving objectives.
  • Identifies, implements, and leads process improvement in modelling and reporting for the initiatives.
  • Troubleshoots independently, quickly finding the root cause of the most complex issues and resolving them.
  • Consults with business leaders to guide and influence long- term and strategic decision-making within the broadest scope.
  • Leads project teams to design and implement a system solution on complex business initiatives, across multiple areas within finance and across geographies/organizations.

Education and Experience Required:

  • First level university degree with a focus in business or economics; advanced degree or accounting certification (e.g., CPA, MBA) strongly preferred.
  • Typically, 8+ years of experience as a financial and/or data analyst.
  • Typically experienced in a variety of finance functions.

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Expert and in-depth understanding of financial systems in several areas.
  • Excellent analytical skills and business acumen.
  • Excellent understanding of accounting principles and financial analysis.
  • Knowledge of data science methodologies and mathematical models and knowledge of programming languages such as Python and SQL desired
  • Superior business application skills.
  • Excellent project management skills for running large, highly complex projects.
  • Superior communication, presentation and influencing skills.
  • Superior teamwork skills.
  • Strong understanding of the company's businesses and priorities.
  • Ability to determine impact of process implementations to the larger business

Annual Salary: $95,100.00 - $218,700.00
