  • This position is remote to candidates in the Northern California area to be able to travel to their region*
As Senior Representative - Outside Sales, you will be responsible for developing new prospects and interacting with assigned customers to increase sales and margin of the Company's products and/or services. You will participate in customer business planning to understand customer needs. Your primary focus will be face-to-face selling and account management activities to meet sales revenue goals by assessing customer needs and suggesting appropriate products, services and/or solutions and ensure a smooth sales process. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is required. You will engage with all levels of the customer s organization including technical, operations, supply chain and executive management and may develop and deliver sales bids, presentations, proposals and/or product demonstrations.

MaxCell is a patented multi-celled fabric innerduct solution that is utilized by telecommunication engineers, contractors and network providers. Over 500 million feet of MaxCell innerduct technology has been successfully installed around the globe in a variety of applications including: Telecom, Military and Government Installations, Cable TV, Wireless Backhaul, Power/Utilities, Municipalities, University, Corporate and Hospital campuses.

MaxSpace was engineered to remove existing rigid innerduct without damaging or disrupting active network cables. Simply put, rigid innerducts are cut apart as they are pulled from a conduit, allowing the cable to remain undamaged and active. With the rigid innerduct removed, incumbent cables settle to the bottom of a conduit and allow for multiple MaxCell packs and cable to be installed, greatly increasing the existing conduit s cable capacity.

MaxWrap is designed for 2 conduits and smaller. It reduces installation time by encompassing the cable as it is being installed in the duct/conduit.

Job Summary And Mission

The Senior Account Representative s mission is to develop new customer contacts and grow existing accounts. The ideal candidate should have experience with value-added selling. They should be able to demonstrate the ability to present the unique features and benefits of MaxCell/MaxSpace to customers based on their individual needs. This position requires extensive travel within the sales territory.

Summary Of Key Responsibilities
  • Responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:
  • Present and sell MaxCell and MaxSpace to current and potential new clients
  • Make regularly scheduled visits to each account. Identify decision makers and points of influence
  • Achieve Monthly Gross Profit Dollar (GPD) and Sales quotas in given territory
  • Grow and develop key accounts within the region by building and maintaining customer relationships
  • Prospect potential customers, including cold calling and development of leads through referral channels
  • Obtain established goals for new customers within the territory
  • Attend and assist MaxCell and MaxSpace field installations
  • Work closely with inside sales personnel
  • Prepare a variety of status reports, including; activity/call reports, pipeline/sales funnel, business plans, and expense
  • Prepare presentations, proposals, and sales contracts
  • Perform other duties as required
Required Knowledge, Skills And Abilities
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent is required. A Bachelors Degree is preferred
  • 3+ yrs of outside sales experience within the telecommunications industry
  • Experience selling Outside Plant Materials with an emphasis on Fiber Optic Construction Materials is preferred
  • Working knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite is required. Working knowledge of an ERP system is also required
  • Applicants should have strong communication and writing skills
  • Applicants should have a proven track record of implementing and exceeding sales objectives
  • Ability to work independently is a must
  • Ability to clearly and effectively set goals
  • Ability to develop and deliver presentations
