Responsibilities
Role Expectations:

• Manage a team of team of project managers taking responsibility for the team's compliance with department project management processes, leading problem solving and escalation of issues, and progress of the portfolio of projects
• Driving project progress from the Apps & Plats roadmaps through the demand process to final project completion. This includes collaboration with domain owners on priorities and budgets, providing status views to Apps & Plats tower leaders.
• Managing contractor and Managed Service Provider (MSP) program managers, project managers, and project coordinators including team morale, administrative duties, coaching, and interviewing candidates, and providing feedback on staff to MSP and vendor leadership.
• Managing the workload of the team, assigning new projects to team members to optimize capacity and skills.
• Coordination with other Program Leads on the team and in other towers
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements
Education:

• High School diploma equivalency with 3 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Bachelor's degree with 2 year of cumulative experience OR 7 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required. 3 years of leadership or management experience preferred.

Additional Preferences

• Bachelor's degree and 10 years of IT project management experience preferred.
• Three years of healthcare experience is preferred.
• PMP or equivalent experience preferred.
• Strong communication and creative problem solving skills are essential.
