Cloud Architect/Engineer

We are looking for a Cloud Engineer who is customer-focused and passionate about helping the modernization efforts and cloud transformations efforts for our clients with their Cloud Engineering experience.

The ideal candidate will possess a good understanding of evaluating existing application technology stacks and how to migrate and modernize them in the AWS cloud. You are passionate about automation and creating an environment that fosters DevSecOps approaches.

This role is considered Full Time (no C2C) and is offered as fully remote sitting anywhere within the US. If the hired candidate lives in an area with an ICF office, hybrid environments will be considered.

What youll be doing:

• Support scale infrastructure migration methodologies and techniques (IaaS/PaaS) including application migrations to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, and/or GCP) within a large enterprise environment.
• Responsible for supporting cloud solution resources, both IaaS and PaaS, that enable the business to securely run sensitive workloads within a cloud environment. Architecting and designing large-scale enterprise infrastructure and integration patterns for cloud environments.
• Help drive internal CI initiatives as it relates to developing the cloud/infrastructure practice. Also, our team maintains a variety of platform technology, including application performance monitoring, automated cloud provisioning templates, and automated bootstrap and configuration management code. You will provide input on industry standards and collaborate with fellow team leaders on the prioritization and execution of ongoing platform improvement initiatives.
• Provide resolution of product or platform issues in a multi-vendor client environment

What you must have:

• Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or other related scientific or technical discipline
• Three or more years total experience in an IT environment
• Two or more years of experience deploying applications to AWS using CloudFormation with services like ElasticBeanstalk, ECS, RDS, VPCs, CloudFront, WAF, and Lambda
• One or more years of experience deploying open-source web content management systems like Wordpress and Drupal in AWS
• AWS certification

Pay Range - There are multiple factors that are considered in determining final salary for a position, including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location, education and certifications as well as contract provisions regarding labor categories that are specific to the position. The salary range for Colorado is -

$89,787.00 - $182,501.00Nationwide Remote Office (US99)
