Overall Goal of Position:
Sauer Brands is the proud manufacturer of beloved products such as Duke’s Mayonnaise, Kernel Season’s, Spice Hunter, and Mateo’s Salsa. We are looking for someone experienced in customer service and order management to join our team and help make sure consumers can enjoy our great products.
Job Summary:
Provides support by processing customer orders, answering inquiries by phone or email. Maintain up-to-date customer files, price lists and promotions. Communicates and works cooperatively with brokers, account managers and other individuals at all levels within the company.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Order Management
- Receive and process orders from customers and brokers by phone, email, and EDI
- Interact on a daily basis cross functionally with the Transportation, Finance, Manufacturing Operations, and Sales departments to ensure timely and accurate
- execution of orders
- Review customer invoices daily prior to submitting for payment
- Provide accurate information regarding availability of in stock items
- Recommend alternate products based on availability or specifications
- Customer Relations
- Communicate with customers and brokers to keep them informed about promotional opportunities, order status, and any service-related concerns
- Work with sales and brokers to manage overall customer relationship
- User Sauer Brands systems and reporting to manage and maintain accurate customer data

- Education & Experience:
- College degree or equivalent business experience
- Additional Desired Skills:
- Microsoft PowerBI or other analysis and reporting applications
- PeopleSoft FSCM or other ERP systems
- Experience in food industry or other consumer package goods
