We're looking for a Mechanical Engineer in Cary, NC who is excited about working on projects that enable the heart of our clients' business. Join us and you'll have the chance to work on projects including state of the art industrial and commercial facilities. You'll be accountable for schedule and technical quality of challenging engineering tasks, as you gain familiarity with the client's expectations, scope, budget, and schedule. You'll also provide on-site assistance during startup, coordinating work activities with other staff members and the discipline lead. Your multi-discipline, highly interactive team will produce HVAC mechanical and plumbing systems concepts, fire protection design concepts, and HVAC mechanical and plumbing calculations including load, energy/total cost of ownership analysis. Your role keeps our company connected and we'll support you with what you need to be successful.

Please note: This position can be remote in the US only

Here's What You'll Need:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent engineering degree

• 8+ years of related experience required (Pharmaceutical facility design experience including ISO classified cGMP manufacturing facilities preferred)

• Central Utility Plant design experience including large chilled water systems, steam boiler systems, and cGMP qualified compressed air systems experience preferred

• Refrigeration systems experience preferred

Ideally, you'll also have:

• Professional Engineer License, not required

• Strong communication skills both verbal and written

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Forward thinking, eager to learn best practices, and contribute with innovative ideas

• Ability to collaborate and work effectively in a variety of teams, including multi-disciplinary teams

• Passion for buildings and construction
