Job Description Summary

Customer facing staff responsible for winning business Impacts approaches, projects and programs in the functional area or affected business organization and ways of working. Impacts quality, efficiency and effectiveness of own team. Guided by commercial practices and policies that may be shaped by the role. Has significant control/influence over commercial priorities. There is moderate autonomy within the role to enter into/execute Commercial arrangements. High levels of Commercial judgement are required to achieve outcomes required.

Job Description

  • Responsible for working with key Utility customers and collaborate with internal teams to deliver on assigned targets.
  • Develop strategies & drive programs/campaigns to support sales growth.
  • Identify gaps, inhibitors & constraints to growth in the segment and execute remedial actions, partnering with Product management.
  • Work closely with, commercial, engineering and P&L teams to drive sales conversions to meet business goals and objectives.
  • Support the services team to quickly resolve any major customer issues.
  • Regularly monitor and communicate new industry trends to key stakeholders in the business.
  • Develop key customer relationships and be a trusted advisor to assigned customers.
  • Utilizes in-depth knowledge of product lines, markets, sales processes, or customer groups and uses analytical thinking and commercial experience to execute strategy.
  • Has knowledge of best practices and how own area integrates with others; is aware of the competition and the factors that differentiate them in the market.
  • For roles outside of the USA- This role requires advanced experience in the Sales & Digital Sales Direct. Knowledge level is comparable to a Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college ( or a high school diploma with relevant experience).
  • For roles in USA - Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 6 years of experience in Job Family Group(s)/Function(s)).
