The Business Analyst works alongside the Business and Clinical Configuration Teams to support implementation and maintenance of clients within CVS Health’s Medical Claims and Prior Authorization platform (Novologix). The position works closely with these teams to manage scheduled and ad hoc projects. The Business Analyst will be responsible for the implementation and maintenance of drug and fee schedule databases and assists with drug pricing calculations and system loads.



Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

Minimum: 40,560

Maximum: 81,100



Please keep in mind that this range represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual salary offer will take into account a wide range of factors, including location.



Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years using MS Office suite (Excel, Access, PPT, Word)
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • 5+ years demonstrated ability to work independently and manage multiple projects and prioritize and delegate deliverables in a timely fashion
  • Change agile; willing and able to adjust individual and team direction based upon changing priorities and business need
  • Ability to think critically, problem solve and make decisions while anticipating the broad impact of decisions
  • Working knowledge of VBA, HTML, and XML required.

  • 5+ years working within an IT or Healthcare environment preferred
  • Medical prior authorization, claims, and/or pharmacy experience preferred



Education


  • BA/BS in mathematics, statistics, health care management, business, economics, finance or related field OR equivalent years of experience required
