Job responsibilities

  • Provides functional system support to the business that ensures accurate and timely processing of all corporate financial consolidation and reporting.
  • Provides support to the finance user community to improve the efficiency of the group through features and functions available in Oracle Cloud E-Business Suite. Challenges existing methods, processes and tools to optimize utilization and efficiency of the Oracle Cloud E-Business Suite and other corporate financial systesm and reporting tools.
  • Provides user training and assistance as needed.
  • Supports the integration of acquisitions. This support may include mapping data, data conversions, system configuration, and business process revisions.
  • Plays a key role in the integration of new requirements and process improvements into financial systems and process flow, including the evaluation and introduction of additional technology to meet business requirements.
  • Ensures effective system administration and controls are in place and executed to include compliance with financial system standards.
  • Coordinates with IT Team and Business management team to evaluate and make changes to financial systems and processes to maintain compliance with corporate standards and to increase financial user efficiency.
  • Assists with the planning and implementation of financial systems changes as a result of significant organizational structure changes to support business growth.
  • Performs as team leader on financial systems upgrades, financial system integrations, financial reporting enhancements, or process improvement enhancement initiatives.
  • Gathers user requirements on financial system or reporting enhancements and partners with IT to prioritize for successful implementation.
  • Ensures reliable technology and process methods are in place to provide accurate results and consistent system performance.

Qualifications

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or equivalent education in a related field.
  • Moderate experience in Accounting or related field.
  • Proficiency in implementing business flows for a Global company in a Procure-to-Pay or Proposal-to-Cash flow whose primary product is within the services industry.
  • Extensive proficiency in the Oracle E-Business suite of applications.
  • CRO or Life Sciences experience is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), email, and voicemail is required.
  • Above average attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational, interpersonal, and team-oriented skills.
  • Ability to perform several tasks simultaneously to meet deadlines is necessary.
