*Overview* Join M Health Fairview's Customer Solution Center as our newest Patient Financial Services CSC Representative (CSC Rep). The CSC Rep helps Fairview Health Services patients understandthe billing and insurance processing of their healthcare services.
They counsel patients on financial solutions available to themeither through direct payments, payment plans, or screening for qualification for assistance programs. This team memberhandles accountsin all systems and understand in depth thefunctions that are vital to resolve accounts. They will also be well-versed in collection practices, understanding of the Attorney General Requirements, and able toliaison with bad debt vendors when needed.
They will have detailed knowledge of the Functions within the Revenue Cycle and how they interact in the life of a patient account While this position is fully remote, there is a required onsite training period at our Midway Offices in Saint Paul of approximately 4 weeks.
* Quick Details:* + Day Shift, 8-hour Shifts,No weekends + 1.0 FTE (80 hours over 2-week pay period) + Benefit Eligible, including medical, dental, vision coverage and more! + Location = Fully Remote.
Responsibilities* Are you passionate about helping patients resolve questions and solve problems? The CSC team member will handle their fair share of calls through our automated call distribution system. They will refer callers to insurance specialists or other staff if further assistance is warranted. The Rep will demonstrate a high degree of proficiency in billing and/or collection of multiple payer's (both government and non-government).
In addition, they maintain account accuracy, protect patient privacy, and ensure data integrity Qualifications* We require a candidate with excellent customer service skills, at least 2-4 years of paid experience. Preferred qualification include an Associate's Degree, healthcare experience, and familiarity with EPIC. This individual should have strong interest in learning new technology systems (PASS, Deloitte overlay system, Healthworks, etc.).
