Business Analyst - Fully Remote

We are currently looking for a Business Analyst, for one of our clients located in Phoenix, Arizona. You will join a dynamic team of 4 people with high visibility within the organization. The company is currently undergoing a growth phase and driving their product forward while looking to work with the modern standards in technology.

This is a cross functional position where you will have access throughout the whole organization working with large sets of data. You will have the opportunity for rotation across projects and have growth opportunities in this fully remote role.

Your tasks will include:

• Close cooperation with all the partners to ensure revenue and costs targets for Services are being met
• Take ownership and lead regular business review processes; responsible for putting together analysis and recommendations in deck and present to senior members of the team.
• Act as the SME on services business analysis (sales, margin, products, customers, staffing, labor, etc.)
• Deep dive into complex data to drive insightful and condensed visualizations out of complicated analytics and provide the best outcomes.
• Flexible mindset, and ability to contribute to multiple work streams, with (sometimes) fluid and evolving prioritization
• Leverage Big Data, Machine Learning, and Advanced Analytics to analyze the business and capitalize on opportunities, to drive sustainably improved business results
• Support reporting (weekly leadership update, ad hoc reports, business drivers/drainers, and business deep dives)
• Strong ability to partner cross functionally and with the field

To be a good fit for the Business Analyst role, you will have:

• Strong business acumen, analytical, strategic thinker, inquisitive, and determined to make an impact
• The ability to deep dive into large sets of data
• Great teamwork skills across various departments and field functions
• Strong passion and ability to interpret advanced analytics, big data/reports and translate into actionable insights
• Highly proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Strong understanding of relational databases, structured/unstructured data & SQL programming
• Highly proficient with data visualization tools (e.g. Tableau, PowerBI, Microstrategy, etc.)
• Experience working with IT and BI departments on various initiatives preferred
• Understanding of machine learning, simulation & optimization preferred
