Rise Interactive (), a rapidly growing full service interactive advertising agency, is looking to hire a Media Strategy Manager. We are seeking a detail-oriented, versatile, highly motivated and creative individual that is excited to work with an entrepreneurial company with an expanding Fortune 500 client base.


Summary And Scope


The Media Strategy Manager is responsible for developing an understanding of clients' business model and pain points and translating them to custom media strategies. The ideal candidate will have a passion for digital marketing, have a base level understanding of all media channels, specifically Paid Search, SEO, Social & Programmatic, as well as the ability to think critically. The Media Strategy Manager will be responsible for working on both new client strategy as well as collaborate on existing client strategy and innovation opportunities. This role reports to the Senior Director, Media Strategy.


Responsibilities


  • Work with Media Strategy leadership to develop innovative and custom solutions in achieving client goals for prospective and current clients
  • Develop custom media strategy narratives and outlines for prospective clients based on business insight
  • Translate client audience data, goals, and pain points into custom media plans
  • Assist with driving new business development by ensuring the Digital Strategy team is leveraging customized approaches
  • Collaborate with Media delivery teams to ensure excellence in executing media plans
  • Evaluate new ad products and develop POV to incorporate into media plans and enhance performance for clients
  • Support priority clients by elevating current strategy and drive upsells or renewals
  • Strategize on incremental business opportunities within existing client base, and deliver insightful and persuasive presentations to clients and prospects
  • Partner with strategic, analytic and technical talent to identify business needs and opportunities that will aid in the development of new measurement methods
  • Lead conversations with clients in determining success criteria (pre and post campaign) and establish benchmarks
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and developments to offer an informed opinion on how these would impact clients and evolve the industry


Qualifications


  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • 3+ years of media experience at both a tactical level (implementing) and strategic level (guiding and training); agency experience is a plus
  • Experience in performance media channels including Paid Search, SEO, Social and Programmatic
  • Experience building client decks and pitching current as well as potential up-sell opportunities
  • Strong understanding of media planning, distribution, and syndication of content
  • Evidence of facilitating and initiating creative thinking in the digital space: content, media, social, activation
  • Candidate should have a hunger for/be a participant in: new technology, new content solutions, affiliate events and conferences
