Program Manager Lead

Overview

Tantus Technologies, Inc. (Tantus) - recognized by the Washington Post as a Top Workplace - is seeking a Program Management Lead to support multiple programs’ operations and projects, following Scaled Agile practices. You will work closely with the client to understand and fully support programs’ needs by bringing value through systems implementation support, risk management, and programs subject matter expertise. You will coordinate across an Integrated Project Team (IPT) consisting of application developers, testers, product managers, helpdesk, infrastructure support, and other specialized stakeholders to deliver program support in a coordinated and clearly communicated fashion. 

What You'll Do

• Understands all the activities within the Client's Team and ensures coordinated actions among all key stakeholders.


• Communicates across all clients to ensure coordination of deadlines, risk management, backlog management, systems delivery.


• Facilitates information sharing and coordination across projects, including facilitating program-level meetings, and defining and documenting processes.  


• Analyzes pain points and gaps and makes process improvement recommendations.


• Provides ad hoc reports to address topics or issues as requested by the client. These include but are not limited to options papers, executive summaries, SBARs (Situation, Background, Assessment/Alternatives, and Recommendations).


• Serves as mentor for staff including but not limited to onboarding, training, provide ongoing subject matter expertise, and identify areas for improvement.


• Manages work quality, personnel, work allocation, and client satisfaction for the Team.


• Other duties as assigned or directed. 

Must Haves

• 3-5 years in program management, managing multiple projects. 


• 5-7 years project management experience minimum. 


• Experience working across integrated project teams. 


• Federal government agency work experience; understanding of Center for Medicare and Medicaid.


• Ability to coordinate a team and provide direction for their personal development. 


• Demonstrated ability in managing complex programs and multiple projects at the same time. 


• Demonstrated ability to manage program and project risks and issues. 


• Experience using Microsoft Project, Atlassian Jira/Confluence, as well as Microsoft Office Suite.

Nice to Haves

• Bachelor’s degree


• Understanding of CMMI ML3 processes preferred. 


• Scaled Agile certification.


• Experience in waterfall and Agile.
