How will you make an impact?
The primary purpose of the Content Marketing Manager is to create and own the production of technical content for both external and internal marketing and training requirement. This individual will demonstrate a thorough understanding of the Bioproduction workflow in areas of downstream purification and chromatography.
Reporting to the Senior Manager of Marketing Development, this role will act as technical voice of the business, developing external content for customer facing channels, as well as internal content for sales enablement. Working closely with Global Market Development, Product Management, and Applications Development, this individual will be responsible for creating compelling technical marketing content across the entire buyers’ journey, including but not limited to, customer presentations, application notes, webinars, and customer testimonials.
What will you do?
Build the marketing content strategy and roadmap by identifying existing or new and always compelling content that will drive lead generation through conversion
Perform market research, gap analyses, and competitor research to identify content opportunities and threats and develop strategies to leverage or mitigate each respectively
Partner closely with R&D, Product Management, and Marketing to support new product introductions and meet customers’ educational needs through digital and sales enablement content
Ensure all marketing communications are current and reflect the messaging based on our value proposition and product brands
Ensure all content is optimized for digital channels, specifically search
Generate technical content for key events, and potentially, present technical presentations or posters
Work with analytics, digital, and demand generation teams to develop and report out metrics for content performance measurement and improvement
How will you get here?
Eduction
Bachelor’s degree in a scientific field required.
Experience
4+ years’ experience in the life science or bioprocess industry; 2+ years of content/marketing experience preferred
Understanding of protein biology and/or molecular biology
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
Excellent project management skills, with the proven ability to gain consensus, influence organizational behavior, lead decision making processes in a matrix-managed organization
Excellent verbal, written, presentation and interpersonal skills
Highly motivated; able to prioritize and follow through in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment
