Principal Software Engineer- RPA (UiPath, Java, .Net) (100% Remote W-2 Only)

Description:

Our Client's Security Software Engineering team is looking for a thought leader in the Automation space, who has the technical skills necessary to advance automation capabilities for the Information Cyber Security organization. The candidate must possess deep RPA/UiPath skills combined with in-depth knowledge of automation, Software engineering and SDLC practices. We seek a candidate that possess exceptional soft skills, is highly organized, motivated, and able to work independently. This team is responsible for automation anywhere for the Cyber Security group, offering Automation as a Service to multiple LOB's to help automate manual processes within security controls. We are looking for someone whom an look at the gaps of current state, Attended or Un-Attended bots, where they lack in the integration efforts of CI/CD pipelines.

The goal is to automate 80% of their controls automated in some fashion before the end of 2023 (currently they are at 27%), we are needing both RPA and BPM experience as when assessing automation needs, some instances will be better suited for BPM rather than manual tasks and candidates will be contributing to both facets and evaluating which would be better suited.

The qualified candidate will be competent in leveraging various tools and scripting to provide automation solutions, and enterprise reporting solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as an advisor to leadership to develop or influence applications, web technologies for highly complex business and technical needs across multiple groups

• Lead the strategy and resolution of highly complex and unique challenges requiring in-depth evaluation across multiple areas or the enterprise, delivering

solutions that are long-term, large-scale and require vision, creativity, innovation, advanced analytical and inductive thinking

• Translate advanced technology experience, an in-depth knowledge of the organizations tactical and strategic business objectives, the enterprise technological

environment, the organization structure, and strategic technological opportunities and requirements into technical engineering solutions

• Provide vision, direction, and expertise to leadership on implementing innovative and significant business solutions

• Maintain knowledge of industry best practices and new technologies and recommends innovations that enhance operations or provide a competitive advantage

to the organization

• Strategically engage with all levels of professionals and managers across the enterprise and serve as an expert advisor to leadership

• Build and design a new data platform to consolidate and redesign portfolio applications into a central governed source

Required Qualifications, US:

• 10+ years of software engineering and information security experience

• 10+ years of Java, Spring, SpringBoot

• 3+ years of Python development experience

• 5+ experience building and consuming REST API, microservice architecture.

• 5+ years of SQL Server database experience

• 5+ years of experience working on an Agile team with Agile tools

• 3+ years of Cloud experience (GCP, Azure, AWS)

• 5+ Solid understanding of SDLC

• Strong understanding of technology architecture, leading and designing conceptual, logical, and physical architecture

• CI/CD and Agile tools such as Azure DevOps, TFS, SonarQube, Artifactory, BlackDuck, JIRA, Confluence, etc.

• Experience leading projects that require integration of multiple technology systems

• Experience with SDLC and Agile methodologies
