Summary
This position is responsible for the day-to-day administration of policies and programs covering several or all of the following: Recruiting, Compensation & Benefits, Training, Employee & Labor relations, Safety and Personnel research.
The HRBP will be part of our SET Group (Start-up Effectiveness Team) This role will be REMOTE/Work from Home , but does require about 80% travel .
Please see below the main functions they will be responsible for:
Effectively assessed the HR needs of the business and takes appropriate steps to meet these needs even when the situations are difficult or complex
Works in compliance with established procedures and/or protocols but is required to exercise some judgment
Ensures compliance with all legal and corporate guidelines
Interprets policies and makes recommendations on routine HR matters
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Performs a variety of value-added functions for multi-functional teams
Performs as part of a high-performance HR work team
May study and provide information on matters pertaining to contract negotiation, grievance cases, federal and state labor legislation.
Performs other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION
Bachelor's degree Business Administration, Organizational Behavior, Human Resources or Labor Relations.
EXPERIENCE
Two (2) years or more experience at a Generalist level
SKILLS
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Instills commitment to organizational goals. Must also have excellent training and negotiating skills
Ability to create and maintain professional relationships within all levels of the organization (peers, work groups, customers, supervisors).
Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.
Possesses flexibility to work in a fast paced, dynamic environment.
Capable of multi-tasking, highly organized, with excellent time management skills.
Detail oriented with excellent follow-up practices
KNOWLEDGE
Must have knowledge of Human Resources laws, familiarization with Labor Relations activities; intermediate level.
Must be proficient in at least 2 of the following: Recruiting, Compensation, HR Planning; intermediate level.
Must be proficient with computer skills to include MS Office (Excel, Word, etc.); advanced level.
DOT Regulated: No

Salary is determined based on internal equity; internal salary ranges; market
data/ranges; applicant's skills; prior relevant experience; certain degrees or
certifications, etc. The salary for this position ranges from $60K to $80K
