6350 - Manual Mobile Tester(Fully Remote)

Qualitest is seeking a Mobile Q/A Tester to work with various projects and own testing mobile application releases for their company. This role is in Chicago, IL.

This role will require you to complete comprehensive, feature-based test plans on our clients mobile applications.

• You will work and lead a team to complete testers.
• You will be responsible for planning, creating, and executing functional, compatibility, stress, system, and integration testing. You will also be liaison between the testers and client Project Manager.
• You will also have additional responsibilities for reporting issues, bugs, and bug fixes to our clients. Excellent verbal and written communication is a strong requirement.
• You will develop test plans, test procedures, and create cases.

Requirements

• Must have mobile manual testing exp (iOS & android).
• Must have 5-10 years’ experience testing API, web apps or other enterprise software.
• Must have experience working in an Agile environment.
• Must have strong communication skill.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

• Apply proven analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Develop and establish quality assurance measures and testing standards for new development and enhancements.
• Communicate test progress, test results, and quality of application changes.
• Analyze test results to discover and report out on defects.
• Work with the business community to plan and execute UAT.
• Able to test Front-end & Back-end applications and web services
• Knowledge of debugging a defect
• Work closely with the Product, QA Automation, and Development teams during all phases of the software development lifecycle.
• Track multiple test executions simultaneously and synthesize the results.
• Proactively identify new tools/processes/approaches and continuously strive to find ways to improve the overall testing strategy

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS

• At least 5-10 years’ experience testing, API, web apps or other enterprise software.
• Experience working in an Agile environment.
• Understanding of HTML and CSS
• Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, continuous integration and deployment tools like Jenkins and Rundeck

PREFERRED SKILLS

• Hands-on experience using modern version control systems like Git and Subversion.
• Mobile testing experience in both iOS & Android
• Understanding of Agile Development (Scrum, Kanban, Lean, XP, etc).
• Ability to work well independently and as part of a team.
