Architectural Drafter - Revit and AutoCAD
-CANDIDATES LOCAL ONLY TO THE DENVER METRO AREA WILL BE CONSIDERED-
We are seeking a self-starting individual who is 100% capable of working independently, who is local to the Denver Metro area, and who is very excited about the field of architecture. Our projects are very diverse, ranging from single-family residences to multifamily developments, as well as some commercial projects. 3 years’ experience minimum in the field of architecture is preferred. We primarily use AutoCAD Architecture, but are moving into Revit soon.
90% of time working from home: We are primarily looking for an individual, who will be drafting construction documents (dimensioning of floor plans and exterior elevations, site plan creation, creation of detail sheets with detail customization, electrical plan design, creation of building cross-sections, etc.). Some design assignments may be given over time. Understanding of building codes and how to research municipality zoning codes are a plus. The ability to efficiently review his or her own work after completion is a must.
10%-15% of time in the field: As-built field measure experience of residential structures is a must. One must be willing to access crawl spaces and attic spaces of structures, as well as rooftops, to identify and document structural components (roof framing, roof pitch, foundation thickness, floor framing, etc.). As-built measure experience of commercial structures (mostly for tenant finish projects) is a plus, but training can be provided.
The ideal candidate for this position is technically savvy with excellent communication skills. Knowledge of all aspects of architecture as they pertain to single-family residences and duplexes are a must. Knowledge of multifamily residences (apartments/townhomes) and commercial projects are a plus, but training can be provided. A solid understanding of how buildings are constructed is a must. Knowledge of how consultant design services (structural engineer, M/E/P engineer/energy consultants) affect projects is a plus.

Qualifications required:
- Autodesk Revit (4 years in a professional setting)
- AutoCAD (2 years in a professional setting)
- AutoCAD Architecture 2018 or better (a plus)
- MS Office, all applications.
- Familiarity with Dropbox or other cloud services.
- Bluebeam Revu or Adobe Acrobat (architectural redline setting)
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $53,000.00 - $58,000.00 per year
