The Role:
We are transforming technology and creating a digital evolution that will empower Centene to better serve our members. As Senior Digital Portfolio Architect you will be managing the end-to-end Intake process and shaping of proposals for new technology investment requests. You will analyze complex business objectives and engage closely with stakeholders to refine problem statements and targeted business outcomes, high level product capabilities and requirements, and business process and operational impact; develop holistic product solutions and business cases; and assess feasibility and alignment to IT and product vision/strategy.
As Senior Digital Portfolio Architect, you will:
Responsible for managing the end-to-end Intake process and shaping of proposals for new technology investment requests. Working with business and technology leaders, you will ensure the smooth and efficient Intake, Governance and Portfolio Management decision process.
You will analyze complex business objectives and engage closely with stakeholders to refine problem statements and targeted business outcomes, high level product capabilities and requirements, and business process and operational impact; develop holistic product solutions and business cases; and assess feasibility and alignment to IT and product vision/strategy
Digital Portfolio Owners will need to ensure the following to have a successful Governance and Portfolio Management capability:
Break down silos, foster collaboration, streamline efforts, minimize duplication and prevent team frustration
Mitigate inconsistent use
Manage and reduce total cost of ownership with alignment of Technology & supporting Roadmaps
Prioritize the backlog in intake stream in a rubric fashion
Reduce rework and achieve more with focused initiatives
Build, maintain and communicate project intake metrics
Responsibilities:
Lead the translation of business ideas and strategy into Initiative proposals with supporting business cases by facilitating the collaboration and alignment of business leaders, product and technology teams.
Ensure initiative proposals include desired business outcomes and OKRs to guide product and technology teams to the appropriate scope, problem definition, solution and value capture recommendations.
Ensure initiative proposal opportunity and solution definition represents cross functional needs and high-level business process and operational impacts
Collaborate and influence stakeholders and technology teams to ensure a smooth and efficient Portfolio intake and governance process; including identification of existing portfolio impacts and trade off decision options.
Coordinate cross-functional meetings with various functional areas to meet overall stakeholder expectations and company's objectives.
Work effectively in a fast-paced environment while balancing and managing multiple competing priorities.
Strong communication and collaboration skills with capability to facilitate strategic conversations, build and develop consensus with business unit executives and the ability to influence decisions across functions.
Manage the end-to-end proposal and portfolio governance process, ensuring comprehensive alignment of business problem and solution definition, cost estimation and value capture are incorporated into business cases.
**Additionally you will bring:**
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Information Technology or equivalent experience.
8+ years of relevant experience required.
Product Ownership, Product Management, Project Management or business analysis experience.
Deep knowledge of specified product domain and industry trends. Knowledge of Information Technology.
License/Certification: Product Owner, Scrum Master, or Agile Coach certification preferred.
