The Senior CAD Drafter will leverage AutoCAD and the Sonny's templates to modify site and equipment layouts and provide project teams with the information they need to be successful. The car wash industry is fast moving, and Sonny's equipment is constantly being developed and improved to better serve the needs of our customers. The Key Account – CAD Project Manager will work with the Construction Manager, Sales Rep and Customer to ensure that the drawings accurately and completely communicate the requirements of each piece of equipment. Many of the Sonny's engineering departments work on specific components and sub-systems within the carwash installation. It is the responsibility of the Key Account – CAD Project Manager to ensure we provide key customer accounts a cohesive set of drawings that meets customer specifications while integrating the various building systems and avoiding conflicts.

Responsibilities:
- Maintains adherence of drawings to Sonny’s CAD standards, including the following areas
- Ensures all drawings are up to date
- Resolves any internal drawing conflicts to present one cohesive and accurate set of information
- Interfaces with Product Engineering teams across the business (including at Sonny’s, HydraFlex, PECO, GoToKiosk, AutoVac, Velocity, and STI) to develop electrical, plumbing, and installation details for new equipment
- Interfaces with Equipment Sales team and Customers
- Interfaces with Equipment Sales team and Customers
- Continuous Improvement-focused
- Manages multiple projects for different customers
- Prioritizes work effectively
- Creates equipment and site layouts based on customer requirements as required
- Full Sets of Drawings
- Demonstrates an understanding of Sonny’s Mission, Vision, and Values through behavior and approach to work
Experience:
Working Conditions: Office Environment
Education and Formal Training:
- B.S. Architectural, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering
Experience:
- 3+ years’ experience in commercial building design
- 3+ years working in multi-disciplinary team
- Must demonstrate understanding of interconnected building systems
- AutoCAD experience required
Materials and Equipment Used:
- Standard MS Office Tools
- AutoCAD
- Adobe or Blue Beam
