Senior Complex Claims Examiner - Property & Casualty Insurance - Hybrid - Glendale, CA

This is a RARE opportunity for YOU to expand your career! We are looking for a Senior Claims Examiner to join a stellar TPA located in Los Angeles Area! You will be responsible for working with a team on finding solutions for clients with complex claims within the Public Entity space.

What we need from you. . . 

• Experience - 5+ years of California Complex P & C  claims handling experience - public entity experience is a plus

• Educated - You have the drive to keep learning. High school diploma required, college degree preferred.

• Licensed - An active P&C license in the state of CA is required

• Comprehensive Knowledge - You have the ability to read, write, and communicate efficiently and effectively, and have solid knowledge of WC laws, policies, and procedures. 

• Work Ethic - You are a bright, ambitious candidate with a great attitude who is motivated and wants to help support individuals.

The Position:

• Review and evaluate legal correspondences, bills, and medical reports

• Respond to inquiries from employers, employees, doctors, and attorneys

• Work collaboratively with attorneys to review and draft settlements and assist with litigation strategies

• Negotiate settlements of claims, liens, rehabilitation plans, etc.

• Provide excellent customer service to both internal and external clientele
