Job Summary:
This position entails a multitude of accounting activities including journal entry preparation, month end reconciliations, variance analysis, as well as year-end audit preparation. This individual should possess strong analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills; with the ability to professionally communicate verbally, and in writing.
Essential Functions:
- Assist with monthly preparation of journal entries, reconciliations, and other internal work papers to support timely creation of financial reporting
- Assist with annual audit preparation and respond to inquiries and requests for documentation
- Identify and implement continuous process improvements and create procedure documentation
- Serve as backup for expense reporting, P Card processing, and Payroll processing
- Assist in overseeing the corporate AP function
- Assist in a variety of analysis and special projects as needed
