As a Senior CAD Drafter at Z+P you will be required to work on multiple projects. You may work individually under the Principal or Project Architect (depending on project size and scope) or in small teams. Our project types consists of education (K-12) and commercial/retail. Interested candidates should possess general knowledge of architecture practice, have strong written and verbal communication skills, and be proficient with the various design software. Architecture schooling preferred. In order to succeed, you must be able to function in a fast-paced environment and be able to accept change.
Minimum Requirements
- Minimum 5 years relevant professional experience.
- Knowledge of California Building Codes and ADA.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work well with others.
- Computer skills including AutoCAD (latest version), Microsoft Office, and Photoshop (Revit/SketchUp experience a plus).
Assigned Duties
- Prepare construction documents to be reviewed by PA/PM.
- Correct documents marked up by PA/PM.
- Assist PA/PM and Project Team as required.
- Coordinate and/or assist with consultant team.
- Prepare design presentations using various media.
- Ability to work on multiple projects concurrently.
- Other tasks as necessary for the success of the project.
