DSV DINING ROOM SERVER - Full-time / Part-time

Grand Villa Senior Living operates senior living communities with assisted living and memory care throughout Florida. We are looking for professional and customer service-oriented staff to join our Food Service Team as wait staff/servers. This individual provides an excellent meal experience for our residents with services including but not limited to: taking orders from and serving meals to our residents for breakfast, lunch and/or dinner; ensuring food is hot (if applicable) and plate is attractive and appetizing; clearing tables and busing plates as residents finish eating; and resetting and cleaning dining areas between meals.  Must be 16 years old or older to apply.

Education and/or Experience:  

Ability to read, write, speak clearly and follow written and oral instructions in English.

Other Skills and Abilities:  

Must have the ability to lift a minimum of 15 pounds.  

Must be able to learn, understand and demonstrate the principles of food service and sanitations.

Work Environment:

Standing, walking, turning, bending, stooping, pushing, pulling and/or lifting.  

Use of both hands simultaneously, and vacuum for long periods of time.  

Subjected to extreme temperatures and have hands frequently in water and cleaning solutions.

We are a Drug-Free Workplace, and all employees must pass a drug screening prior to their start date. Applicants must pass a Level II Background Screening and test negative for COVID-19 prior to starting orientation. Background screening and COVID-19 tests are paid for by the company. Required qualifications:

• 18 years or older
• Legally authorized to work in the United States
• Able to comfortably lift 20 lbs
• Speaks English
• 6+ months of experience in the food & restaurant industry
