Role Summary
Under the direction of the Business Intellegence Manager, this role will interface with and provide support to the Sales, Operations, and Finance teams with the primary focus of evaluating the company's performance against sales and profit goals and minimizing risk.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Functions as the point of contact for rebate inquires and monitors payment processing in coordination with Finance. Monitors, maintains, and improves upon existing rebate reporting tools and reconciles reporting against financial data and rebate program terms.
- Administers Salesforce CRM platform, develops additional functionality, and identifies synergy between Salesforce and other software.
- Provide training to sales, sales management, and other key stakeholders on Salesforce, Power BI, and other relevant systems. Develop effective training documentation and video walkthroughs. Keep manager and key stakeholders apprised of training progress and issues.
- Identifies gaps and issues with end-user sales data and provides regular summaries of findings to manager and sales team. Prioritizes correction of issues with internal stakeholders and vendors.
- Monitors access to third-party systems including Salesforce and Power BI and grants and revokes access as necessary.
- Maintains existing reporting tools and develops new tools as necessary.
- Perform other duties as assigned or required.
Skills and Abilities
- Bachelor's degree required. Focus in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related field preferred.
- A minimum of two (2) years of relevant experience in a business-related environment required.
- Working knowledge of business principles.
- Strong analytical and financial modeling experience required. Power BI, advanced Excel, or data-oriented programming experience preferred.
- Ability to navigate and manage multiple deadlines to help achieve business objectives.
- Detail-oriented, results-driven self-starter who can thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills.
- Proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Office, Salesforce, Power BI or tableau.
- Ability to work independently, within a team, across internal departments and with third party vendors to drive results.
