Field Engineer

Our client is an information technology services company that provides not only IT support, but consulting, managed IT services, and cybersecurity. They offer their services throughout the tri-state region and beyond. They are looking for their newest Field Engineer who will perform on site coverage for scheduled proactive support as well as break-fix support. You will be building proper business relationships with customers as well as performing various duties as required. This position is on-site in San Diego, CA.

Field Engineer Responsibilities and Duties

• Client on-site engineer, performing SLA support coverages, handling issues that require on-site presence and any other client related problems requiring hands-on approach.
• Client on-site scheduled proactive support with detailed departure summaries.
• Interface positively with peers, other department, carriers, and customers to identify operational issues and provide expedient corrective actions
• Ensure that all paperwork such as customer, internal and maintenance tickets are completed accurately and in a timely fashion.
• Knowledge of client SLA's

Field Engineer Qualifications and Skills

• A valid driver's license and the ability to drive
• A personal, functioning vehicle
• Access to personal working PC and working internet
• Working cell phone with monthly recurring service plan as well as working internet functionality
