What does a great Software Development Engineer do?

The Software Development Engineer will develop customized solutions within the platform to support critical business functions and meet project objectives, client requirements, and company goals.

As a Software Development Engineer, you can look forward to:

• Manage daily support and maintenance and conduct long-term improvement operations to ensure compatibility with evolving mission requirements.

• Communicate with project managers, clients, and other developers to design cohesive project strategies and ensure effective collaboration throughout all phases of development, testing and deployment.

• Maintain a flexible and proactive work environment to facilitate a quick response to changing project requirements and customer objectives and innovate ways to meet mission goals successfully.

• Lead the knowledge sharing sessions where team shares ideas and new features of the product.

• Gather requirements and perform feasibility study on requirements.

• Providing the scope and solution for the projects assigned.

• Provide the estimation for the efforts on each project along with any problems to encounter, risks, and benefits.

• Functional analysis on the requirement to gather any additional requirements to ensure fulfilling the requirements of project.

• Providing in detail description of design and software architecture based of the requirement analysis for a project.

• Providing in detail system design specification of the features and operations that will satisfy functional requirements of the proposed project

• Provide with user interface diagrams, program flows, user flows, third party programs to be used, high level representations of the models used for the service calls and database models.
