CBRE's Design practice has an opportunity for a Mechanical Engineer to join our team in our in San Francisco office. This is a great opportunity for a Mechanical Engineer with 2 years experience to work on complex mechanical building systems for large commercial, public and industrial projects. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Prepares mechanical designs and perform calculations in support of large commercial and industrial projects both renovation and new construction.
  • Assist the Senior Engineer with planning the layout of a project and integrates engineering elements into unified design for client review and approval
  • Coordinates activities concerned with technical developments, scheduling and resolving engineering design and test problems.
  • Prepares scaled drawings and contract documents for building contractors.
  • Assists Senior Engineer with construction administration duties and conducting periodic on-site observation of work during construction to monitor compliance with plans.
  • Directs integration of technical activities and products including the preparation of operating and maintenance manuals, studies and reports.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's Degree or masters degree from four-year college or university in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Minimum 5 years relevant experience required.
  • PE License
  • Experience with Revit is strongly preferred
