Job Description

SUMMARY OF ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsible for leadership, direction, coordination and performance for the site teams at the Madison, Wi site
  • Fully responsible for all services provided within the MSA/SOW and have the ability to act for C&W Services
  • Safety Champion – Lead and coordinate monthly safety meetings. Enforce company safety policies and procedures, including ensuring team members perform assigned tasks in a safe, effective, and efficient manner. Completing 3 CWalks per month at each designated site
  • Handle customer relations, employee development, staffing, policy implementation/enforcement, budget preparation and cost control
  • Interact with customer and client personnel to determine and manage expectations
  • Strive for continuous improvement. Including but not limited to process improvements, and innovative suggestions
  • Efficiently handle day-to-day client operations, effectively delegating work and appropriately escalating situations
  • Participate in ongoing managerial and leadership skill development, and maintain an up-to-date knowledge of current practices used by C&W Services
  • Continue investments in people and talent, promoting internal growth opportunities for current employees
  • Communicate with all team members to support the development of short and long-range goals and objectives.
  • Be available 24/7 to respond to client facility needs within 30 minutes during normal duty hours, and within one hour after normal duty hours

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS:

Education and Experience  

  • Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university; or seven to ten years related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience. IFMA – CFM designation preferred.

 Computer skills

  • Knowledge of CMMS system. Knowledge of BMS systems.
  • Knowledge of Business Systems or Document Management Database software; Smartsheet., Competency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook) required

Reasoning Ability                 

  • Ability to troubleshoot issues define problems in Integrated Facilities Management service delivery, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions

 Requirements include:

  • Has working knowledge of repairs and preventive / predictive maintenance on electrical and mechanical equipment. Repairs and preventive / predictive maintenance to be performed in conformance with established standards.
  • Must have working knowledge of the following: proper use of hand/power tools, shop math, pneumatics, power transmissions, parts nomenclature, measurements and fasteners.
  • Must be able to operate and have knowledge of simple and complex heavy industrial equipment such as forklifts, scissors lifts and boom lifts.
