The Allegis Global Solutions (AGS) Business Analysts are responsible for supporting the reporting and analytics functions for our programs including monthly and quarterly standard deliverables, ad hoc reporting, consultative guidance for things such as business reviews. Analysts work in a consultative fashion with our program directors by leveraging our tools and best practices. Analysts are often assigned to multiple programs and must be available to support the program in many different capacities.
Responsibilities
Compile and deliver data used to measure overall Program performance as well as individual Supplier performance on a daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly basis
Gather questions and requirements from business stakeholders and translate into technical reporting requirements.
Develop reports necessary to manage Program Office performance and meet customer needs. Work with technology partner to develop these reports, including technical scope, design, development, debug and user-acceptance testing.
Reconcile and manage data quality as necessary to resolve discrepancies and/or reconcile results. Utilize data to identify potential system issues.
Conduct analysis of data trends within programs and summarize findings to support program director decision making
Provide consultation to program operations teams responsible for delivering reports to our customers
Troubleshoot problems with creating reports to support reporting requirements, data and metric definitions
Documentation of reporting requirements, procedures and business rules necessary to support the delivery of reporting and analytics for our programs and customers
Will be client-facing and are expected to introduce clients to ACUMEN, our BI platform, and to present our Business Analytics products/packaging to client sponsorship
Qualifications
Intermediate to advanced knowledge of MS Excel
Must have strong technical, organizational and communication skills (both written and verbal).
Must have strong problem-solving capabilities, analytical skills, sense of curiosity, take ownership for projects, be flexible and be able to handle multiple tasks concurrently
Must be a critical thinker who can take data and interpret it into actionable information for clients
Must show strong drive, initiative and ownership in all aspects of their work.
Must be a self-starter and independent worker, capable of meeting expectations with minimal oversight
Must be comfortable communicating and working with a global team
Must have strong organizational and communication skills (both written and verbal).
Must have strong problem-solving capabilities, and flexibility to handle multiple tasks concurrently
Must have excellent time management skills and the ability to hit aggressive deadlines.
Must have the ability to build relationships with key individuals.
Must have a strong sense of humor and enjoy social interaction within and outside the immediate team
Must have advanced knowledge of MS Excel (proficiency with v-lookups, pivot tables, complex formulas etc.)
B.S. in Computer Science, Business, Economics, Psychology or related major or equivalent business experience
