Title: Data Engineer/Data Analyst
Location: Minneapolis, MN (Fully Remote)
Job Type: Contract
JKnowledge of Healthcare or Insurance highly preferred
4+ years in data/analytics as an engineer or analyst
Experience creating reports and dashboards using data visualization or BI tools ( Tableau, Power BI)
Fluent SQL skills including complex queries which are optimized for performance
Strong analytic skills related to working with unstructured datasets
Experience building out data pipelines and orchestrating performant data models on cloud warehouse using dbt and one or more data orchestration tools
People skills to work with business partners and other team members
Experience using the command line and software engineering best practices like version control and using Git
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree with coursework in computer science, statistics, econometrics, physics or other applied math disciplines
Extra credit:
Knowledge of AWS Infrastructure and AWS services like Redshift, Glue and Athena
Hands on experience with Airflow implementation
Working knowledge of message queuing, stream processing, and highly scalable data stores
