The Job

Job Brief

• The Installation Technician position will join our small but mighty team and will be responsible for physically installing GrowGlide’s vertical racking and accessorial offerings, as well as providing quality assurance/control for all jobs entrusted to you to execute.  You will be directly assisting the Install department Leadership, as well as facilitating tasks and requirements for PM Zone Owners, that consist but will not be limited to coordinating the day-to-day logistics for both in-state and out-of-state jobs, aligning with warehouse operations to ensure pick orders, inventory and timelines are on schedule, and ensuring interdepartmental/intercompany communications are clear, rich and consistent on a per project basis. This position has the opportunity for growth based on performance. You will be provided with training and given support as needed to get you fully up and running.   

Major Duties and Responsibilities

• Reviewing all installation drawings with prospective clients with help of the Install PM Manager, Project managers and/or Install Coordinators.
• Visiting clients or potential clients to evaluate needs or promote products and services.
• Attend Trade Shows as needed for installation purposes.
• Physically installing GrowGlide’s vertical racks and accessorial product offerings. 
• Oversee installation process on- and off-site.
• Provide mentoring and oversight across all jobs and personnel entrusted to you.
• Data entry and records upkeep within various databases.
• Clearly communicating with inner company departments via Slack and/or Click-Up.
• Monitor the progress of your active job to ensure you remain within budget and timeline.
• Monitor day-to-day processes and projects for issues and challenges, taking immediate action where possible, and escalating when required.
• Tracking any and all accessorial expenses on a per project basis, and immediately reporting the expense for customer billing purposes.   
• Be a resource to Team Directors as it relates to Install-related updates and/or requirements. 
• Work with Supply Chain on logistics for outbound freight and installs
• Help maintain  warehouse facilities
• Any and all other assignments entrusted to you by leadership for execution. 

The Details

At-Will

• Employment with the company is for no specified period of time.  Your employment with the company will be “at will,” meaning that either you or the company may terminate your employment at any time and for any reason, with or without cause. Any contrary representations that may have been made to you are superseded by this letter agreement.  This is the full and complete agreement between you and the company on this term.  Although your job duties, title, compensation and benefits, as well as the Company’s personnel policies and procedures, may change from time to time, the “at will” nature of your employment may only be changed in an express written agreement signed by you and a duly authorized officer of the company (other than you).  

Schedule

• This position is based out of Denton, TX (mostly remote).
• Full-time; Hourly position.
• Monday - Friday hours vary due to travel, and weekends as needed.
• Travel: 90%, covered by the company.

Requirements

 Requirements and Experience

• Prior experience in Project Management or equivalent experience preferred.
• 3-5 years of hands-on furniture, metal racking assembly, and/or installation experience.
• Previous experience in the Cannabis industry highly preferred. 
• An overall passion for delivering happiness (completing projects on budget, on time and of high quality) for others. 
• Knowledge of systems and networking software, hardware, and networking protocols preferred.
• Comfortable working within a high pace/multi-tasking / time-sensitive environment.
• A constant thirst for knowledge and understanding.
• Excellent written and oral English is required (communication skills).
• A team player who contributes to the positive, high-energy company culture.
