We think. We act. We deliver. There is no challenge we can’t turn into opportunity. And our work depends on a **Business Analyst** joining our team remotely to support the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) activities.

As a **Business Analyst** supporting CMS, you will be trusted to reviews, analyze, and evaluate business systems and user needs, formulate systems to parallel overall business strategies and writes detailed description of user needs, program functions, and steps required to develop or modify computer programs. This position is 100% remote with work schedules based on Eastern Standard Time (EST). In this role, a typical day will include:


+ Participating as a member of a Scrum Team to interview and interface with stakeholders and value streams to obtain needed functional, nonfunctional, and operational requirements specifications


+ Writing user stories, including validation criteria, and providing technical review and validation of requirements to create, prioritize, and maintain a comprehensive backlog of user stories


+ Listing out risks and constraints in relation to identified requirements


+ Developing and documenting requirements documents and other project related artifacts, such as workflows and processes, associated with the program


+ Analyzing problems, identifying potential solutions, and working with the system developers to resolve problems


+ Assisting with testing and operational rollout and support as needed


**REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:**


+ Bachelor’s degree and 1+ years of relevant experience.


+ Experience capturing requirements and writing user stories for AWS cloud-based data management environments


+ Experience working with business processes, business process re-engineering, and business analysis in a system engineering or software application environment


+ Understanding of the system development lifecycle as implemented with Agile and/or SAFe methods


+ Demonstrated success in communicating effectively with technical and non-technical audiences, including customer stakeholders


+ Excellent technical writing skills and proven experience in organizing complex requirements


+ Understanding and general knowledge of IT systems, software development processes and technical documentation


+ Experience using JIRA and Confluence


+ Must be able to obtain Public Trust clearance


+ Must have lived in the United States at least three (3) out of the last five (5) years


**PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:**


+ US citizen or a Green Card holder


+ Health Care Industry or CMS experience


+ Active SAFe certification(s), such as SAFe Product Owner/Product Manager, SAFe Practitioner, SAFe Scrum Master


+ Experience supporting modern data management systems development and operations


+ Excellent knowledge of industry best practices, trends, and difficulties


+ Excellent oral and written communication skills, with an ability to communicate complex technical topics to management and non-technical audiences


+ Excellent analytical skills, including the ability to integrate information from multiple sources


+ Ability to work independently and interact regularly with government and non-government stakeholders at multiple levels of authority


+ Works well as a team member in a fast-paced and often time-sensitive environment
