Software Engineer II - DevSecOps

Description

As a Software Engineer II, you will drive strategic efforts on the platform team which manages enterprise level container orchestration environments. This team delivers high quality platform and operational automations. As a member of the team will continue to enhance processes and developer experience by adding best practices and tools and leveraging the latest technologies. This is a growing platform which is adding crucial applications constantly.

• Designing, modifying, developing and implementing technology solutions; building modern, architecturally sound components, tools and applications to meet mission-driven strategic business goals.
• Participating in an environment rapidly transforming to the Agile methodology, adhering to best practices and collaborating effectively with your team mates.
• Designing, modifying, developing and implementing software solutions. Building modern, architecturally sound components, tools and applications to meet mission-driven strategic business goals.
• Infusing quality of service characteristics, such as scalability, manageability and maintainability, into distributed service-based framework to create or expand business or technical capabilities.
• Documenting development iterations; ensuring the quality of technical documentation; creating progress reports.
• Participating in code and design reviews with network, infrastructure and solutions engineering teams to ensure that solutions meet current enterprise standards.
• Maintaining existing applications used in the contact center life cycle by handling recurring tasks like disaster recovery testing, issue/ticket resolution for development dependent fixes, etc.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in software development, with a proven record of successfully launching consumer products
• Demonstrated ability to operate in a team environment, geographically dispersed team, strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Understanding of multiple programming languages, including at least one front end framework (Angular/React/Vue), such as Python3, Java, JavaScript, Ruby, Golang, C, C+, etc.

Desired Qualifications

• Understanding of the banking industry, specifically the functions of custodial and consumer banking
• Experience with collecting requirements, creating software designs and developing efficient implementations
• AWS/AZURE/GCP experience, including managing sensitive assets
• Bash and Linux experience
• Experience with full-stack development and open-source stacks (Springboot, React, Java, Node JS, etc)
• Experience with legacy modernization techniques
• Experience with CICD pipeline (CircleCI, Jenkins, or equivalent)
• Cloud certifications such as AWS Solutions Architect
• Understand data structure concepts such as linked lists, dictionaries, arrays, custom object creation, etc.

Education:

Bachelors degree in Computer Science or similar major is required.
