Claims Associate Representative/Administrative Representative
Location: 100% remote
Pay: $17 - $18/hr; Paid every Friday
Schedule: Monday-Friday, daily schedule between hours of 8:30 - 5:00 EST. Minor flexibility around start and end times, depending on availability of associates to assist with questions.
Contract: ASAP 1/27/2023 (potential for extension and permanent placement with CLIENT)
POSITION SUMMARY
This position is an entry point to advance into professional roles within *CLIENT*. The Administrative Representative is responsible for daily claims appeals distribution to appeals processors. Work will be allocated on a day-to-day task basis according to the team s worklist. Administrative Representatives must be able to identify appeals correctly and assign out appropriately.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Performs claims duties under direct instruction and close supervision.
Delivers basic technical, administrative, or operative claims tasks.
Examines and processes paper claims and/or electronic claims.
Completes data entry, maintains files, and provides support.
Understands simple instructions and procedures.
QUALIFICATIONS
Ability to work collaboratively with other departments to resolve issues.
Good oral and written communication skills.
Ability to read and interpret appeals.
Strong focus on quality and accuracy.
Ability to work a flexible schedule for peak volume times.
