The School of Continuing and Professional Studies (SCPS) at Pratt Institute seeks a Program and Operations Coordinator to join our operations team. SCPS serves those seeking professional education in the fields of art, design, and architecture. We are committed to providing a hub where interactive learning, innovation, and creative solutions are at the core of the experience delivered to changemakers, artists, and designers of all ages.
Reporting to the Assistant Dean, the Coordinator will be responsible for supporting the SCPS programming and operations team, serving as liaison to key campus administrative offices, and communicating with faculty, students and other teaching departments to ensure the successful delivery of programs, courses, activities and events. This is currently a hybrid position, partially remote and partially in person, and is primarily based at our Manhattan location.
Qualifications:
Education: BA degree required. MA degree preferred in Education or a related field
Experience: 3-5 years of experience in continuing education required.

- Collaborate with the SCPS Operations team as well as Registrar, Facilities and other campus departments to ensure implementation of policies and procedures and smooth and efficient delivery of programs and events.
- Respond to student inquiries in areas such as the registration process, transcripts and certificates and basic advisement
- Communicate with instructors regarding their courses/programs, course evaluations and grades, and events and activities they are involved in.
- Gather and analyze data to support operations and programming projects and initiatives.

- Proficiency with internet research, MS Office Suite, CRM applications
- Experience with marketing programs and curriculum review
- Strategic thinking, analytical skills, excellent decision-making ability based on the application of data, metrics, and sound judgment required
- Demonstrated level of cultural competence and sensitivity, knowledge and understanding of academic, socioeconomic, gender, gender identity, cultural, disability, and ethnic backgrounds of the students we serve, and sensitivity to and knowledge and understanding of groups historically underrepresented, and groups who may have experienced discrimination.
