What you will do for Siemens Smart Infrastructure:
The Project Management Coordinator is responsible for independently and proactively overseeing and advocating Siemens interests for new customer proposals/contracts in the acquisition phase including but not limited to commercial review and drafting of contract changes to proposals/customer contracts.
Primary Responsibilities:
Conduct and coordinate commercial contract reviews and negotiations for Customer proposals and contracts (master agreements, blanket agreements, standalone contracts)
Coordinate inter-department reviews and changes to proposals and customer contracts
Identification of commercial risks and ability to draft proposed changes to contract documents, as required, to ensure compliance with Siemens requirements
Timely communication of commercial risks and required proposal/contract changes to proposal managers and proposal engineers
Preparation of all necessary internal approval documents (risk checklist, inter-departmental reviews, management approvals, etc.)
Ensure timely follow up of key issues.
Engage, advise and coordinate among internal groups to optimize Proposal & Customer contract outcomes.
Provide training business counter parts on proposal contract review process
Review purchase orders for compliance with proposal management approvals.
Supplier qualification forms and customer account setup.
Project implementation contract, change order, and claim management.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in engineering, construction management, business administration, law, or other related field
8-10 years proposal and/or contract management experience specific to electrification and automation, energy, or construction industry
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
Exceptional verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
Excellent analytical, negotiation and organizational skills; ability to multi-task and shift focus as priorities change
Qualified applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States
Preferred Qualifications:
Expertise in contract law
Familiarity with commercial litigation
Preferred Skills:
Solid understanding of contract terms
Ability to analyze risks and draft contract language.
Must possess strong written and oral communications skills, especially with senior management and senior-level customers.
Ability to work both collaboratively and independently and to allocate work among a team effectively in a highly matrixed, high-volume, fast-paced environment.
Possess strong analytical skills.
Ability to manage time and meet deadlines/schedules.
Must have the ability to coordinate multiple activities associated with complex contract generation and approvals.

Travel
- Occasional travel to Siemens offices, customer or vendor locations.
