Job Description
IPM Specialist is looking for a general labor worker. IPM Specialist is a local well-established pest control company seeking a professional and courteous individual to full fill our general labor position. IPM Specialist has been providing pest control service to our valued customers since 2013. The goal is to provide our customers with quality/brand protection. Our company focuses on commercial customers, and not residential.
General Labor: Under direct supervision, the candidate will be assigned to work a variety of different tasks/jobs. This may include, cleaning vehicles/warehouse, helping the technicians throughout their day, and general labor duties. Will be cross-trained and will perform additional job duties as needed and required.
Job Functions (Other duties may be assigned as needed):
- Roof/gutter cleaning
- Vehicle maintenance
- Housekeeping (stocking warehouse, etc.)
- Working on roofs
- Delivering items in company vehicle
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Strong organizational skills and ability to work under pressure.
- Ability to apply common sense and training to carry out detailed written or oral instructions.
- Able to work independently
- Must be able to lift 40 pounds and work up to 4 stories high
- Must be knowledgeable with power tools (drills, impact, saws, etc.).
REQUIREMENTS
- A clean driving record is required (no more than one traffic violation in the past 3 years)
- A drug test will be administered on all candidates
- A background check will be administered by the state of California and federal government on all candidates
- Legal for work in the US
- A drivers license is required
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to extreme cold and hot weather. The employee is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts and outside weather conditions. The employee is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions; high, precaution places; extreme heat; and vibration. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 40 pounds. The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
