Job Description

Senior Product Manager for Protocol Solutions

As a product manager/planner, you are responsible for understanding the PCIExpress ecosystem (including technologies such as CXL/nVME/PCIExpress/GenZ/et cetera) and how Keysight develops solutions to help customers get their jobs done fast. For the key market segment assigned, this role is responsible for attending PCIExpress related events, standards calls and visiting customers to ensure that Keysight solutions are differentiated on the protocol market.

The main focus of the role will be to grow the business the protocol business and find areas of expansion for Keysight, including scope decoders, BERT LTSSM, and protocol analysis.

You will get the unique opportunity to visit many of Keysight customers and discuss developing custom solutions for them.

You will collaborate with a cross-functional team including product management, product marketing, field marketing, and outside analysts to develop thought leadership messaging strategy, positioning, value proposition and competitive differentiation of the company's solutions.

You will conceive, build, and execute marketing programs that measurably grow awareness and lead to development of inquiries and qualified leads.

Responsibilities:

Drive Keysight solution definitions to match with industry trends to ensure strong competitive differentiation

Establish effective working relationships and align marketing vision with executives in Product Management, Product Marketing, Field Marketing, and Sales to develop compelling, creative marketing materials that position company products to market pain points while developing thought leadership in the market.

Develop lasting relationships with industry experts through standards participation

Participate in industry events to certify Keysight solutions

Establish oneself as an expert in the PCIExpress market through customer visits

Create and manage solution content including, but not limited to, website copy, white papers, solution briefs, sales presentations, infographics, bylines, blogs, and videos

Participate in team meetings and standards meetings and actively contribute.

Job Qualifications

Bachelor's degree (Electrical Engineering discipline preferred), MBA is a plus

5+ years of professional technical marketing experience

Excellent writing and content creation skills are required

Expertise in PCIExpress protocol is highly wanted

Product experience with oscilloscopes and BERTs

Experience working with cross-functional teams and aligning them to strategic objectives

Creative thinker and an excellent communicator

Strong communication and presentation skills, including the ability to translate complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences and communicate with all levels of an organization

Expert-level proficiency with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel

Strong record of building lasting relationships

Ideal location is at Colorado Springs, CO or another Keysight location. Consideration will be given to remote candidates for those who meet the qualifications.

The preferred location for this position will be based in Santa Rosa, CA, but we will consider qualified candidates at other major Keysight locations: Santa Clara, Calabasas/L.A., Roseville, CA; Loveland, or Colorado Springs, CO; Dallas or Austin, Texas; Beaverton, OR; Everett, WA, Atlanta, GA; Chantilly, VA, etc.

Colorado pay range: MIN $ 103,650 Ref Pt $138,190 MAX $172,740

The level is based on experience, education, and skills. Most offers will be between the minimum and the midpoint of the Salary Range listed above.
