This position is full-time. Employees are required to work our normal business hours of 8:00am 5:00pm. It may be necessary, given the business need, to work occasional overtime or weekends.

Primary Responsibilities:

Infusion remit management assistance

Attend/participate on Unapplied Remit Management conference calls

Assist in obtaining outstanding remits for challenging payer/portals or restricted portals

Focus on electronic remittance automation

Research, identify, and upgrade paper payments to electronic funds transfer

Practice attention to detail to best ensure correct/complete enrollment submissions

Adheres to Regulatory / Payor Guidelines and policies & procedures.

Provides exceptional customer service to internal & external customers/payers

Other duties as assigned

Revenue Cycle remit management assistance, electronic remittance enrollment, electronic funds transfer automation.

Will support obtaining remittances to reduce unapplied cash, and automation improvement of electronic remittances and electronic funds transfer.

Required Qualifications:

High School Diploma / GED (or higher)

1+ years of experience in an office setting, doing research, managing email and phone communication, and attending meetings

Microsoft Word (create, edit, and save documents)

Ability to work a 5-day week, 8-hour shift, any time between office hours of operation

Preferred Qualifications:

Knowledge/experience of medical and/or dental products

Telecommuting Requirements:

Required to have a dedicated work area established that is separated from other living areas and provides information privacy

Ability to keep all company sensitive documents secure (if applicable)

Must live in a location that can receive a UnitedHealth Group approved high-speed internet connection or leverage an existing high-speed internet service

Soft Skills:

Excellent interpersonal skills

Demonstrate strong oral and written communication skills

Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize caseload based on business needs as well as ability and willingness to accept and work in a new and changing environment

Colorado, Connecticut or Nevada Residents Only: The salary range for Colorado residents is $15.00 to $25.19. The salary range for Connecticut / Nevada residents is $15.77 to $27.79.
