Customer Service Representative

California Business Bureau, Inc. (CBB) is a Revenue Cycle Management Company providing services for healthcare providers. We are currently seeking professional Customer Service Representatives of all experience levels to join our team.

Compensation: contingent upon experience and skill level, we pay a competitive hourly wage plus performance-based commissions

Employment Type: Full-Time

Qualifications:

• High School graduate or GED equivalent required
• Call center experience is helpful, but not required
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, with ability to adapt to web-based patient account systems
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Familiarity with HIPAA, FDCPA, FCRA and all other applicable rules and regulations a PLUS

Responsibilities and Expectations:

• Meet or exceed monthly goals
• Work well in team environment with professionalism and display supportive rapport
• Exercise discretion in patient account handling
• Maintain compliance with all applicable rules and regulations, including HIPAA, FDCPA, FCRA, etc., and all company policies
• Make outbound calls and receive inbound calls from patients and/or responsible parties
• Utilize exceptional customer service and negotiation skills to obtain prompt payment
• Demonstrate the ability to think quickly, multitask, and problem solve
• Troubleshoot issues to result in account resolution
• Effectively handle difficult patient calls to resolve issues

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour
