Summary: Responsible for the effective operations and delivery of strategic site prescreening and registry programs (program lead). Creates infrastructure to support scaling of the specialty prescreening and registry programs. Provides strategic direction and creates a high-performance culture through leadership, team management, coaching, and development to achieve delivery of sites and subjects for ProSciento studies. Fosters a culture that drives customer focused solutions, personal accountability, and delivery excellence. Performs duties in accordance with company’s values, policies and procedures.



Essential Duties and Responsibilities
include the following. Other duties may be assigned at the company’s sole discretion.



  • Assimilates knowledge around ProSciento therapeutic areas and technologies and becomes fluent in discussing tools and areas of key interest to stakeholders (sites/patients/studies).

  • Provides feedback and ideas around new initiatives, marketing, and tools that would increase efficiencies and output.

  • Performs all duties and responsibilities of Strategic Site Relationship Manager and Site Recruiter as needed and assesses for process optimization and to mentor and supervise team.

  • Works with data managers to create program and study specific reporting for project review.

  • Reviews, approves, and tracks all study related invoices (includes 3rd party and site-specific invoices).

  • Responsible for ensuring program data transparency and access.

  • Assesses and communicates project performance and implements corrective strategies where needed.

  • Facilitates functional program reviews (scientific, business, medical, etc.).

  • Provides input on enrollment strategy for new business development opportunities in collaboration with Study Start Up Manager.

  • Manages department resourcing needs (headcount and equipment) in order to implement operational strategies created by study start up team.

  • Assists business development in presenting strategic site programs to clients and at bid defenses.

  • Contributes new content to corporate communications in the form of milestone press releases, updated web content, webinar ideas, case studies, etc.

  • Communicates strategic site capacity to business development on a quarterly basis to support client messaging.

  • Owns oversight of strategic site programs and requests a change order to Budgets and Contracts when the project scope or timelines change.

  • Assists in governance of business initiatives managed by the Director, Clinical Strategies & Logistics.

  • Supports department director with oversight activities related to system administration and functional responsibilities.

  • Provides subject matter expertise, advice, and project management support as needed.

  • Uses system of record (SOR) and support compliance cross-functionally.

  • Implements and tracks program Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Key Quality Indicators (KQIs) as directed.

  • Creates and maintains Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Work Instructions (WIs).

  • Trains on all required cross functional SOPs and WIs.

  • Practices and adheres to the mission statement and ProSciento values.

  • Travel may be required, up to ~15%.

Qualifications:

Education and Experience:


Master’s degree in biological science or other related field or MBA is preferred, plus six or more years of project management experience in a CRO and in managing service providers. Prior supervisory experience preferred. Equivalent combination of experience and/or education in other areas will be considered.



Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities:


Knowledge of clinical research process. General knowledge of research regulatory and quality assurance guidelines. Public presentation skills. Able to communicate via email, text and Microsoft Outlook/Teams meeting platforms. Interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills. Critical thinking and problem resolution abilities. Independent work ethic.



Language Ability:


Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations and clinical protocols. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, employees, and the general public.



Math Ability:


Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.



Reasoning Ability:


Ability to define/solve problems, collect data, establish facts, draw valid conclusions, and predict outcomes when several abstract and concrete variables are present. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, mathematical or schedule form.



Computer Skills:


To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of the current Microsoft Office 365 software, MS project preferred as well as feel comfortable utilizing web based technical platforms with minimal support.
