Registered Nurse Responsibilities:

As an Aveanna Healthcare Private Duty Nurse RN, your responsibilities will include:

• Delivering one-on-one patient care in the comfort of their homes, focusing on individual needs and preferences.
• Implementing the physician's prescribed plan of care with precision and dedication.
• Administering prescribed medications, treatments, and therapies, ensuring adherence to established protocols.
• Conducting thorough patient assessments and coordinating care in alignment with skill, age, health condition, and acuity level.
• Maintaining compliant and timely documentation of care provided in the system of record.Promoting patient health through education and training of family members on care practices.
• Accepting and accurately documenting verbal orders from physicians, obtaining co-signature of Case Manager when required.
• Regularly following up with physicians, clients, family members, staff, and Case Manager on client problems, concerns, and changes in client condition.
• Performing other appropriate duties as assigned.

Registered Nurse Qualifications:

To excel in this role, you should have:

• RN Licensure: Must have and maintain an active, unencumbered license (RN) in the state in which the clinician will practice.

• CPR Certification

• Experience: Six months prior hands-on nursing experience preferred but not required.

• Transportation: Must have reliable transportation.
